A special person who loves wood, once found a slice of a tree on a beach in Costa Rica. This slice, appearing to be rotten and weeks away from becoming part of the sand, is saved by this person's daughter; she saw more than just a rotten slice of tree.

Both returned to New York, along with the rotten slice of tree. The vision of saving it and turning into something of quality was persued.

This slice of story currently stands in the dwelling of the wood-lovers who found it.
